Days 01 to 04 – Arathusa Safari Lodge, Sabi Sand Game Reserve
Your journey begins with a flight from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit Airport, followed by a scenic drive to the northern Sabi Sand, one of Africa’s most legendary wildlife reserves. You’ll spend 3 luxurious nights at the beautiful Arathusa Safari Lodge, perfectly situated in prime game-viewing territory, overlooking a large waterhole frequented by resident hippos and a constant parade of wildlife.
This world-renowned 65,000-hectare private reserve shares unfenced borders with Kruger National Park and is legendary for its exceptional Big Cat sightings, particularly leopards. Explore the Sabi Sand Reserve in open safari vehicles, guided by experienced trackers and guides on morning and evening game drives. The area is known for its incredible concentration of wildlife, especially Big Cats, offering some of the best predator sightings in Africa.

Days 04 to 07 – Kambaku River Sands, Timbavati Game Reserve
After a final morning game drive and a delicious breakfast at Arathusa, you’ll be transferred to the tranquil Timbavati Private Game Reserve for the next leg of your safari adventure. This 53,000-hectare unfenced wilderness area forms part of the Greater Kruger ecosystem and offers a more intimate, owner-managed safari experience.
Spend 3 nights at Kambaku River Sands, an owner-run lodge nestled along the banks of a dry riverbed, where wildlife gathers at the lodge’s active waterhole. The atmosphere here is intimate, with passionate guides and trackers leading you on immersive morning and evening game drives, as well as guided bush walks that bring you closer to the wilderness.

Day 07 – Johannesburg
