We had a trip of a lifetime to Simbavati Hilltop and Anantara Bazaruto
Chris booked a trip for his wife and her family to the Timbavati Game Reserve. Their group of 10 set off to Simbavati Hilltop for 4 nights. The group then went back to Texas while Chris and his wife headed for some R&R on the gorgeous island of Bazaruto in Mozambique before flying back to the States. Below is his traveller review of the trip.

We had a trip of a lifetime – it was unbelievable and thank you for all the planning that went into making the trip such a success. The family absolutely loved the safari and we successfully saw The Big Five on multiple occasions.
Simbavati was incredible and I don’t think anyone could fault a thing about the lodge. The food, service and atmosphere was perfect and everyone working at the lodge was so welcoming. The view from the hilltop was incredible and made for such a beautiful setting. It’s no wonder this is a 5-star lodge and I’d love to return for another stay one day.
Anantara Bazaruto was equally amazing and the perfect ending to a 3 week trip. The island and beaches were beautiful and service was great. I’d highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a tropical location close to South Africa.
