The Safari was Wonderful!

Yes we all made it back safely!

The Safari was Wonderful! Thank you so much for arranging it all! 

At Elephant Plains, we saw the big 5 in the 2 days! We shared the vehicle with another family who was nice and we switched off seats. We got incredibly close to the animals which was absolutely amazing! The views from our patio were amazing as well and even got to see an elephant herd of over 20 elephants go by. The staff was very friendly. The only thing I’d have to say is that the food was really heavy and it was either too salty or too sweet. 

 At Nambu, this was a very different experience that we still loved too. We learned that this is their family home and that they grew up here in summers frolicking in the bush with the brothers and then in 2017, decided to open the business. And this was more of a relaxed schedule which was a nice pace after Elephant Plains. We were also the only ones there so we had the whole place to ourselves which was so nice. Unlike Elephant Plains, we were only able to drive on the roads so we weren’t able to see many of the animals up close and there were several areas where we weren’t allowed to drive on so we did miss some lions and seeing a wild dog hunt down an antelope. But we did get to see a lot at Elephant Plains so we were ok! And there wasn’t a tracker to save on their costs, but we also didn’t mind cause Terrence did a fantastic job! The food was also very very good and refreshing! And the views while eating were amazing too, we saw quite a few animals drinking out of the watering hole.
