Perfectly located on the banks of the Timbavati River in the Thornybush Private Nature Reserve lies Siviti. Formally known as Thornybush River Lodge, Siviti is built on land called Timbavati Plains, giving rise to the full name Siviti Timabvati Plains. Enjoy the pristine wilderness from your own villa and the main areas. Rim flow pools and private plunge pools beckon the elephants who regularly come to drink.
This intimate and luxury lodge has just six private suites, one of which is a two-bedroomed private villa. The main areas of the lodge overlook the surrounding bush and the river ensuring that the game viewing is always front and centre.
Siviti Suites
Floor to ceiling glass doors ensures you can enjoy the surrounding bush from inside the suite. Luxurious, elegant and intimate suites boast private plunge pools sunken into the deck, a Victorian bathtub that makes you feel like you are bathing in the wilds as well as both an indoor and outdoor shower. Each suite has an indoor lounge and all the amenities you expect from a luxury lodge.
The Thornybush Private Nature Reserve & Activities
Siviti is an established lodge in the Thornybush, previously called Thornybush River Lodge. Located in the southern sector of the reserve, Siviti offers incredible game viewing on twice-daily game drives led by experienced guides. The Thornybush Private Game Reserve has dropped fences to their neighbours, Timbavati Game Reserve, and therefore to the Greater Kruger Park ecosphere. This allows greater freedom of movement for animals, especially the big ones like elephants who have historically roamed the length and breadth of the Kruger National Park.
