Southern Africa Solo Safari review

The trip was fantastic!! I had such an incredible time and it was a wonderful experience!  Thank you so much!!

The hotels were all great–Shongwe Oasis and the Winchester were particularly beautiful!  The staff everywhere were so kind and helpful.  I’m so glad I was able to experience Victoria Falls.  It was absolutely breathtaking!  I’m also glad you booked the day in Chobe because I wouldn’t have known to do that but it was some great wildlife viewing, and an opportunity to see some animals that we didn’t see much of at Elephant Plains (tons of giraffes, buffalo, and hippos).

Franschhoek was so fun and pretty (the Babylonstoren garden tour was awesome), and I hate that I didn’t get to experience the tram but it was great riding around with JJ and getting to see more wineries that were maybe off the beaten path!  I’m so glad I was able to stop at Ashia and see some cheetahs and watch the cheetah run!  Cape Town was incredible.  Such a beautiful city and the cape tour was wonderful.

Elephant Plains was amazing–I’m so glad you knew about it and were able to get me a spot!!  The staff were so nice and helpful with everything, and the wildlife was fantastic.  The food was wonderful and the other amenities were exactly what I was hoping for!  Our ranger told us that they make a point to hire 75% of employees from the local community, which I thought was a great thing and made me love the place even more!  I would love to go back one day, and would absolutely stay there again!  I am attaching a few pictures out of the 1,600+ that I ended up taking!  

I really want to thank you so much for all the planning you put into this trip, because everything went off without a single hitch!  You picked such wonderful places and wonderful things to do.  I loved every minute and hope to make it back someday before too long!  Absolutely happy to leave a review.
