Spend your first night at Pafuri Luxury Tented Camp and enjoy game drives and beautiful views before embarking on your 3 day walking safari, staying at Pafuri Trails Camp. Enjoy comfortable and authentic safari tents nestled under the shade of the forest, complete with ensuite facilities.
Each morning you will explore the Makuleke Concession and surrounds with a few hours walk before returning to camp for brunch and some quiet time. Late afternoon embark on another walk or change it up and enjoy a game drive.

Explore the picturesque Maseke Balule Game Reserve with the armed and very experienced walking trails guides. Spend each night in a different location as you explore the Maseke and the beautiful Olifants River that runs through this area.
Your tents are canvas dome tents with plush and comfy beds with an authentic safari bucket shower and chemical toilet. You will spend your mornings walking, then drive to your next camp location, with some quiet time in camp in the middle of the day. Afternoons are spent on a walk or on a game drive, after discussion with the group and the guides. Africa on Foot Wilderness Trails runs on set departures every Monday and Thursday from April through to November each year. Simbavati Trails Camp
Located in a secluded spot in the Timbavati Game Reserve, Simbavati Trails Camp is a back to basics walking safari camp that retains touches of simple luxury you expect from the Simbavati brand. Simbavati Trails Camp focuses exclusively on walking safaris in its intimate camp. Enjoy meals cooked on the fire and nights under the stars around the campfire. Each of the four tents has en suite facilities with hot water bucket showers on demand.
Experienced trails guides showcase what you miss when you are on the back of a safari vehicle. Spend your mornings out on walks before heading back to camp for lunch and some quiet time. Late afternoons see you on the track again ending with a sundowner out in the bush. A safari vehicle will then collect you and drive you back to camp.

Set within a private concession in the Timbavati. Tanda Tula Field Camp is a mobile tented camp that is eco friendly and intimate. You can only book Tanda Tula Field Camp on an exclusive use basis, with a maximum of 8 guests, ensuring a private experience. Tanda Tula brings the elegance of old-time living to the basics of nature and safaris with each of the tents ensuite with an outdoor bathroom.
The walking safaris at Tanda Tula Field Camp are conducted by experienced field guides and trackers, who share their specialised knowledge of the area. Spend your mornings out on foot before returning to camp for a well-deserved lunch and rest. Depart for your late afternoon walk till your sundowner spot. From there you will take a short night drive on the safari 4×4.
