Day by Day itinerary

Day 1 to 3 – Royal Livingstone Hotel, Zambia

On arrival in Victoria Falls, you will be transferred to the Royal Livingstone Hotel. Activities include a sunset cruise on the Upper Zambezi River and a walking tour of the Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side. The hotel offers direct access to the viewing points on the Zambia side which you can enjoy at your leisure.
Located in lush gardens along the banks of the Zambezi River just before it plunges over Victoria Falls, the thundering of the falls and the spray kicked up provides a backdrop to your stay.

The Royal Livingstone Hotel, located on the banks of the Zambezi River in Zambia, offers a luxurious gateway to the iconic Victoria Falls. This elegant hotel combines colonial-style architecture with modern amenities, providing guests with an atmosphere of timeless sophistication. Day 3 to 6 – Wilderness Savuti Camp, Linyanti Concession

After breakfast, you will be transferred by road to the Zambia border and cross over the Chobe River to Botswana on the newly built Kazangula Bridge. Once at Kasane Airport you will fly to the Linyanti Concession where your guide from Savuti Camp will be waiting.

Wilderness Savuti, located in the private Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, offers an exceptional safari experience with land and water-based game viewing. The Savuti Channel, influenced by subtle tectonic shifts, alternates between flowing strongly and receding, creating diverse habitats that attract a variety of wildlife. Visitors can enjoy thrilling day and night game drives, guided walks, helicopter rides, and seasonal boating and fishing.

The charming camp atmosphere, professional guides, and excellent hospitality ensure an unforgettable stay. Highlights include the stylish Star Bed overlooking Zibadianja Lagoon and opportunities to see over 400 bird species, hippos, crocodiles, and wading elephants when water levels are high.

Wilderness Savuti supports various research and conservation initiatives focused on the region’s large elephant herds and overall environmental impact. The camp features six suites with front-row views of the Savuti Channel, including a family room. Elevated wooden decks extend from the main lounge, dining, and bar areas, offering panoramic views. Guests can also enjoy a small pool and an evening fire deck. Wildlife sightings in the area include high concentrations of plains game, predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and wild dogs, as well as rarer species like aardvarks and aardwolves.

Day 6 to 8 – Wilderness Tubu Tree Camp, South West Okavango Delta

Wilderness Tubu Tree, ideally situated on the western edge of Hunda Island, offers thrilling leopard, wild dog, and hyena sightings amidst the game-rich floodplains. You can enjoy spectacular game viewing through drives, guided walks, and water adventures. The camp provides a complete Delta experience with activities such as traditional dugout canoe rides, catch-and-release fishing, and boating, offering close encounters with brilliant birds, reed frogs, and hippos.

Staying true to its name, the camp features eight tents set into a tree canopy, connected by elevated walkways, and includes a family unit with adjoining tents, bathrooms, and a shared lounge. The main area boasts a famous bar under a marula tree and a pool deck with panoramic views, while the Tubu Star Bed allows for a romantic night under the African sky.

Wilderness Tubu Tree is renowned for its predator sightings, with day and night game drives revealing leopards, wild dogs, and hyenas. The island is a wildlife haven, home to elephants, zebras, red lechwe, giraffes, tsessebe, wildebeest, kudu, impala, bushbuck, and various bird species. The floodplains and waterways teem with wetland birds, while dryland species thrive on the larger islands. Day 8 to 11 – Qorokwe Camp, South East Okavango Delta

Wilderness Qorokwe, bordering the renowned Moremi Game Reserve, is one of Botswana’s premier wildlife-viewing destinations. Covering over 26,180 hectares, it offers a mix of habitats fed by the Santantadibe and Gomoti channels, attracting diverse wildlife, including impressive buffalo herds. This land-based camp invites year-round safari adventures with activities such as mokoro rides, nature walks, bush picnics, and Champagne sundowner stops on boating safaris.

Guests can also enjoy adrenaline-pumping night drives to track predator-prey action, followed by culinary delights and storytelling around a fire. The camp’s eco-chic styling blends modern interiors with natural exteriors, featuring nine elegant tents, an infinity pool, and elevated walkways for spectacular views of the wildlife and wilderness.

Qorokwe is a predator stronghold, offering thrilling encounters with lions, cheetahs, leopards, and other iconic animals. Its diverse biomes, from acacia woodlands to pristine floodplains, are home to giraffes, zebras, red lechwe, and mud-encrusted buffalo. Elephant herds are regular visitors, and the area is frequented by African predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, spotted hyenas, and wild dogs. The camp plays a crucial role in empowering local communities by creating jobs and income-generating opportunities, with staff largely employed from the community.
